Truely Raises US$2Mn to Scale Global eSIM Connectivity, Grows Bangladesh Team
Newsletter
Traveltech company Truely has secured an additional US$2Mn in funding to accelerate its product roadmap and global expansion. The round includes participation from DG Daiwa Ventures, Goodwater Capital, and Disrupt.com, with follow-on support from existing investor Beenext. This brings Truely’s total raised capital to US$5.5Mn following its earlier US$3.5Mn round in October 2024.
Founded by CEO Simon Landsheer, Truely offers Switchless™ eSIM connectivity for international travelers, eliminating the need for physical SIM cards, roaming fees, or complex plans. Since the launch of Truely 2.0 in May 2025, the platform has gained traction among frequent travelers through its unlimited data offerings and simplified user experience.
A significant portion of Truely’s team operates from Bangladesh, including key leadership in growth and product functions. Kishwar Hashemee (Chief Growth Officer) and Touhidul Tishad (Chief Product Officer) have played key roles in shaping the company’s brand and product vision. The engineering, product, marketing, and growth teams are also primarily based in Bangladesh.
“We’re actively growing our team in Bangladesh—bringing together talented individuals who are building products with a global impact,” said Hashemee. “Truely stands as yet another proof point that global consumer tech products can be built from Bangladesh and scaled across borders.”
The company plans to use the new capital to improve network infrastructure, launch localized plans with regional pricing and payments, and roll out team-oriented features for business and remote travelers.
With this raise, Truely joins a growing group of consumer-facing tech ventures scaling globally with operational hubs in Bangladesh.
