Launched in March 2024, TwinMind is building what it describes as a “second brain,” designed to run quietly in the background of mobile devices. The app captures ambient speech, turning real-world conversations into structured memory while prioritizing privacy. It performs on-device audio processing, generates AI-powered notes, to-dos, and real-time translations in over 100 languages, without storing raw audio or sending it to the cloud.
The app claims to run continuously for 16+ hours without draining battery and supports offline transcription, distinguishing it from other voice-enabled productivity tools. A companion Chrome extension expands its contextual intelligence by scanning tabs and browser activity to generate personalized insights across email, Slack, Notion, and more.

Currently serving 30K+ users across the U.S., India, Brazil, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Europe, TwinMind’s user base spans professionals, students, and creatives. The startup reports that 15K monthly active users, with up to 30% adopting the browser extension. TwinMind has also introduced Ear-3, a proprietary AI speech model offering real-time transcription with a 5.26% word error rate and speaker diarization capabilities.
With backing from major investors and an emphasis on ethical AI and user privacy, TwinMind aims to redefine how individuals capture, organize, and retrieve personal and professional information, without compromising control over their data.
